Overview:
This adventure combines thrilling game drives, scenic landscapes and memorable wildlife experiences including the famous tree climbing lions in ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. For a complete safari experience you’ll explore Uganda’s top wildlife destinations Kibale National Park, Murchison falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Sanctuary, boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and a visit to the Equator. This itinerary focuses on the classic wildlife and primate experiences in Uganda.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe and Transfer to your Hotel
You’ll will be welcomed by our Raa tour guide/driver who will introduce himself and drive you to the hotel in Kampala where you will spend a night. You will be booked into Mestil for an overnight.
Day 2: Travel to Murchison national park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
You’ll be picked by your guide at the hotel after your breakfast through Kampala city, enjoy the ride with beautiful scenic views. You will have a stopover at total mijera for coffee, quick lunch before heading for tracking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which normally last an hour. You’ll then head to Murchison national park via Masindi this trip takes approximately 8-9 hours.
After checking into your lodge, you will have lunch rest and head out for an afternoon cultural walk, cycling in the park or horse back riding.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Enjoy an early morning game drive where you will be see elephants,lions,kobs,giraffes,antelops,etc.You will return to your hotel for breakfast and relaxation after your lunch you will head out for an afternoon boat cruise that sets of exactly at 3:00 pm everyday there for you’re advised to keep time. The boat cruise takes you to the bottom of the falls. You will return to your lodge enjoy the amenities at your lodge, dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Visit to the Murchison falls and drive to Fort portal
You will have an early morning breakfast and go on a guided hike to the top of the falls where you will be able to view the magnificent falls which are the strongest and most powerful falls in the world. You’ll will head back to the hotel for a change of clothes and to check out as you may get wet at the falls. There after a transfer to fort portal which is a getaway to Kibale national park.

Day 5: Embark on Chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale and Bigodi community walk.
You’ll be picked by your guide after breakfast to head out for the chimpanzee tracking where you will able spot different types, on this journey you’ll watch different bird species enjoy every moment and take endless pictures. You will then be taken back to your lodge for lunch where you will relax before heading out for the community walk where you will learn more about the Bigodi community.

Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park(Melody of wonders)
You’ll be driven by your guide to Queen Elizabeth where you will have an afternoon boatcruise on the kazinga channel and a game drive before heading back to your hotel for rest and an overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your guide will pick you up after an early morning breakfast for a morning game through the ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions before heading out to Bwindi which is approximately 3-6 hours depending on the sector in Bwindi you are headed to where you will be checked in into your lodge for lunch and relaxation. You can visit the Batwa community if not tired.
During dinner you will be advised on clothes to wear during the trip, you advised to wear dark clothes and avoid colourful clothes.

Day 8 : Undertake the famous mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi
You’ll head out after breakfast to the meeting point where you will be allocated groups, guide and a ranger. You will be given the guidelines to follow when meeting the gorillas. Gorilla tracking is the highlight of this trip as it provides an intimate encounter with one of the world’s most endangered species. Trekking into the misty jungle with the help of expert rangers, you will get an opportunity to observe gorilla family as they feed, play and care for their young. After the track you will be rewarded with a certificate of completion, you’ll be picked by your Raa driver/guide back to your lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 9:Head to lake Mburo National Park for a walking safari and more wild life viewing
The drive to lake mburo from Bwindi is approximately 5-6 hours. After breakfast you will embark on the trip to Mburo which is Uganda’s smallest savanna national park located in western Uganda. Known for its mosaic of landscapes including lakes, wetlands and diverse wildlife such as zebras, impalas and various bird species therefore you can enjoy birdwatching on this trip. Over night at lake mburo national park.

Day 10: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast you will be picked by your driver for an early morning before heading back to Kampala (you may choose not to go for the early morning drive) in case you had enough animals to see. You’ll make a stopover at the equator for pictures and before heading to Kampala.
