From thrilling Big Five game drives and optional hot air balloon safaris to walking safaris, boat cruises, and cultural encounters, this itinerary delivers the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and discovery. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

You will be picked from the airport by one of our drivers and head to the hotel for check in. Depending on your time of arrival in Nairobi the vibrant capital of Kenya, spend the day exploring the local crafts markets for souvenirs and enjoying street food. Visit the giraffe center to feed Rothschild giraffes. You can explore the historic Karen Blixen Museum

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide for Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the scenic drive with a stop at the Rift Valley View Point, arrive in Masai Mara for lunch followed by an afternoon drive to stop wildlife such as lions, elephants and zebras. Evening drive is also available if you are not very tired.

After breakfast we have a full day game drive in the Masai Mara (Lunch will be a picnic). The Reserve is well known for its black maned lions and abundant wildlife, this is one of the few places where is it’s possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under vehicles. Several even climb on to the roof to get a better view of prospective prey!

For the bird enthusiasts almost 500 species have been recorded here, among these include 16 species of eagles many hawks and falcons,6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks ,4 species of bustard (including the Kori bustard the world’s heaviest flying bird) and 9 species of sunbirds. You may witness the Great Migration(if in season).

You’ll have an early morning breakfast before heading out to Lake Naivasha, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can see hippos and various bird species. Visit Crescent Island for a walking safari and also enjoy bird watching.

Depart Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park after breakfast, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Amboseli and enjoy an afternoon game drive to see elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of the mountain.

Amboseli National Park is a real treat! Located in southern, its famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and incredible wildlife especially its large herds of elephants. You can spot four of the Big Five here: lions, elephants, buffalo, and leopards (though Leopards are rare). The park is also home to Cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species.

During the game drives explore the park’s vast plains and woodlands, you can also choose to go on hot air balloon safari to get a bird’s eye view of Kilimanjaro and the wildlife and a guided nature walk, cultural tour to the Masai.

You will depart Amboseli and return to Nairobi after breakfast and check into your hotel upon arrival. You can relax at the hotel, swim and enjoy your meal before having a tour of the city. Consider dining at a traditional Kenyan restaurant.
